Board of Directors election

The 2016 WALRAA Board of Directors is excited to roll out the new Board of Directors Election Process for 2017.

Elections will take place via electronic ballot during the first week of November. The 2016 Board will be announced at our Annual Business Meeting on Wednesday, November 16.

Below is a list of committee members and their contact information should you have any questions. A member of the Nominating Committee will contact the nominated member to advise them of their nomination.

Board of Directors Election Timeline

 Monday, September 26 – Friday, October 14 Nomination Process
 Monday, October 17 – Friday, October 21 Nominating Committee will contact all nominees by Monday, Oct. 17.  
 Nominees will have until Friday, October 21 to accept or decline nomination.
 Monday, October 24 – Friday, October 28 Nominees to submit one-page Statement of Interest/Resume
 Monday, October 31 – Friday, November 11 Elections via Electronic Ballot
 Monday, November 14 Election Results Communicated to Nominees
 Wednesday, November 16 The Nominating Committee announces 2017 Board of Directors at the November  Annual Business Meeting

Officer Selection Process

 Thursday, November 17 –  Wednesday, November 23  Nominate or Self-Nominate for Officer Position
 Monday, November 28  Deadline to Submit One Paragraph Statement of Interest
 Week of November 28  Nominating Committee Creates Officer Slate
 First week in December – Holiday Party  Officers Announced at Holiday Party and via email
